Mindfulness is the process of bringing your mind into the present. It requires practice and patience but it will become a habit. An enriching one at that.
Every so often, at any point in the day, take time to really be present.

- Were you lost in thought?
- Are you taking care or rushing what you are doing?
- Can you feel your breathing?
- Are you worried, anxious, excited or happy?
Noticing every little thing you are thinking, feeling and doing releases your mind from the constant internal clamor. Having a moment to breathe and be present within your body is grounding. With practice, you will find yourself becoming more present in what you do every day.
Mental Stimulation
Our brains are wonderful, powerful things and we absorb a lot of information every day. Take a minute to think about the information you are subjecting yourself to and how.
Do you listen to podcasts or music that motivates you and gets you thinking? Or do you read magazines or educational books? Do you spend a lot of time browsing social media, swiping past things that do not inspire you?
